Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a passionate Barista to join our team. You will prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages according to café standards, using espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices. Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is an advantage. Flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, are expected to support peak times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages according to café standards.
• Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
• Ensure consistency in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and seating area.
• Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups and other supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist senior baristas or supervisors during peak hours.
• Educate customers on menu items and recommend beverages.
