Talent Recruit represents a leading bakery group in Perak seeking a Procurement Lead for its Ipoh operations. This role owns end-to-end procurement, supplier negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery across 14 bakery outlets.

You will compile weekly purchase reports, coordinate with vendors, monitor stock levels, review products for cost savings and quality, and support production and outlets. Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin is preferred to handle overseas sourcing.

Qualificações

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of procurement/purchasing/supply chain experience in a related industry.
• Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin for overseas sourcing and supplier communication.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; experience with ERP software is required.
• Strong negotiation skills with supplier relationship management.

Responsabilidades

• Weekly reporting: prepare and deliver detailed weekly purchase order reports to management, including statuses and timelines.
• Vendor coordination to ensure timely delivery as per PO; address discrepancies.
• Deadline management to meet delivery schedules and avoid supply chain delays.
• Stock monitoring and product reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities and quality improvements.
• Lead supplier negotiations and sourcing to obtain better deals and service.
• Cross-departmental support as primary contact for production and outlet teams.
• Administrative duties: process POs, manage supplier contracts, maintain procurement records.
• Confidentiality management: handle sensitive supplier pricing data securely.
• Ad-hoc tasks for upper management as needed.
