Talent Recruit represents an artisanal bakery group headquartered in Singapore and is seeking a Head of Production to lead all manufacturing operations for baked goods. You will drive operational excellence, ensure food safety, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Based in Singapore, the role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in baking/manufacturing, and a data-driven mindset to optimize schedules, budgets, and product launches while guiding staff and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or professional certification in Baking & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Food Technology / Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional baking experience and manufacturing experience.
• Strong technical expertise in high-volume production of breads, laminated pastries, cakes, and specialty bakery products.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and project management skills.
• Open to Malaysian, Singaporean and Singapore PR ONLY.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and control production schedules to maintain an efficient workflow aligned with production goals and seasonal demand swings.
• Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety, hygiene, production efficiency, and quality assurance.
• Ensure all products comply with internal quality standards, food safety regulations, SFA, HACCP and other regulatory frameworks.
• Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate production supervisors and staff.
• Oversee manpower planning, shift scheduling, attendance tracking, and overall labour productivity.
• Manage operating budgets, control wastage, and reduce production costs without compromising quality.
• Identify production issues, bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Troubleshoot production processes to resolve production, quality, and regulatory compliance issues.
• Drive product innovation and support new product launches and seasonal items.
• Support audits, inspections, and certification renewals when required.
• Report production performance, risks, and improvement plans to management.
