Job summary

AMICI FOOD SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking a Commis II – Bakery & Pastry to join our production team in Johor Bahru. You will assist in the preparation and production of bakery and pastry products and ensure quality and hygiene throughout all processes.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes, and be willing to learn new techniques. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply, and weekend or holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery, pastry, kitchen or food production preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant culinary/bakery qualifications encouraged to apply.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of bakery and pastry products.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Assist with bread, cakes, pastries, fillings, creams and other bakery items.
• Ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation and production area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures.
• Monitor stock and inform supervisor when ingredients are running low.
• Assist with packing, labelling and other production duties when required.
• Complete daily production tasks as directed by supervisor or chef.

• Ensure products are prepared according to required quality and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, equipment and production area
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures
• Monitor ingredients and inform the supervisor when stock is running low
• Assist with packing, labelling and other production duties when required
• Complete daily production tasks assigned by the supervisor or chef

About you

• Preferably with experience in bakery, pastry, kitchen or food production
• Fresh graduates with relevant culinary/bakery qualifications are encouraged to apply
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Responsible, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Able to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when required
