Job summary

AMICI FOOD SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Commis 1 to support our production team in Malaysia. The role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring quality and hygiene, and adhering to food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will help maintain cleanliness, handle ingredients, and operate equipment safely while supporting production targets and following FIFO for material handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Commis or in a similar kitchen role.
• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, and GMP practices is preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

• Prepare ingredients and food products according to standard recipes and production schedules.

• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating raw materials using the FIFO system.
• Minimise food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Support production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef or Production Supervisor.
