Job summary

VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD in Shah Alam is seeking a bakery operative to produce a variety of breads, cakes, pastries and desserts following recipes and quality standards.

You will mix, ferment, shape and bake, monitor ingredient quality, manage stock levels, ensure clean work areas, and assist with display and daily tasks. Fluency in Malay and English or Mandarin is helpful, with Mandarin an advantage.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related working experience.
• Mandarin is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin.
• In depth knowledge of food preparation and baking techniques.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including OT, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produce various types of bakery products including cake, bread, pastries and desserts.
• Mix, ferment, shapes, and bake according to recipes and standards.

• Reporting low baked goods stock to superior in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter.
• Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.
• To perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.
