Icon Jco Puchong SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Foreman-Job Controller to join our Automotive Engineering division in Puchong Jaya, Selangor. You will oversee production operations, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality throughout manufacturing processes.

You will help bridge communication between management and production teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within specification, while guiding technicians and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive Foreman, Workshop Supervisor, Job Controller or Senior Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair processes.
• Proven leadership, communication and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and job scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to prioritise multiple repair jobs and meet deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with workshop management systems and job tracking is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and technicians.
• Assign repair and maintenance jobs to technicians according to skills and workload.
• Monitor job progress to ensure repairs and servicing are completed on time.
• Inspect repair work to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with service advisors, spare parts personnel, and other departments.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and provide technical guidance to technicians when needed.
• Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and spare parts for repairs.
• Update job status and maintain accurate workshop records.
• Resolve technical issues and operational challenges to minimise delays.
• Ensure technicians follow company procedures and safety requirements.
• Assist in managing workshop productivity and improving operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to workshop technicians.
