XTS TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a Solution Manager to bridge business development, engineering, and clients. You will translate complex requirements into scalable automation solutions, lead pre-sales teams, and drive design from concept to handover.

The role requires technical depth, business acumen, and strong proposal-architecture skills to guide projects from discovery through execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Automation, or related field.
5–8 years hands-on experience in factory automation, robotics, system integration, or SP machinery.
Experience as Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Manager, or Senior Automation Engineer preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or cobots), PLCs, vision systems, and conveyors.
CAD proficiency: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProgeCAD.
Cost estimation and vendor evaluation skills; ability to draft detailed engineering specs.
Excellent presentation and client-facing communication in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia a plus.
Problem-solving mindset with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor a technical team of pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and mechanical designers to drive high-quality proposal delivery.
Allocate engineering resources effectively across multiple tenders, pre-sales inquiries, and proposal submissions.
Establish SOPs, design templates, and technical review guidelines for the solution design team.
Design and architect end-to-end factory automation, robotic, vision inspection, or material handling systems according to client specifications.
Conduct detailed technical feasibility studies, cycle time calculations, footprint planning, and ROI analysis for proposed automated solutions.
Evaluate and select appropriate hardware, PLCs, industrial robots, sensors, software, and third-party systems for integrated project proposals.
Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to participate in client discovery meetings, site visits, and technical requirement gathering.
Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, BOM, project timelines, costing models, and SOW documents.
Present solutions, conceptual layouts, and value propositions directly to client stakeholders, key decision-makers, and technical teams.
