Job summary

XTS TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Solution Manager (Warehouse Automation) to lead end-to-end design of automation solutions. You will translate customer requirements into technical specifications, create CAD models and detailed design documents, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to validate designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial automation projects; senior/lead design role preferred.
• Strong design and product design skills for scalable warehouse automation solutions.
• Solid mechanical engineering expertise including knowledge of material handling equipment, structural design and system integration.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for creating detailed layouts, 3D models and technical drawings.
• Foundational electrical engineering knowledge to collaborate on control systems and power requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with cross-functional teams clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of warehouse automation solutions from concept to commissioning.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and detailed design documents.
• Produce CAD models, layouts, and 3D designs for review and fabrication.

Role Description

Solution Manager (Warehouse Automation) is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end design of warehouse automation solutions, including concept development, system layout, equipment selection, and integration with existing infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include translating customer requirements into technical specifications, producing detailed design documents and CAD models, performing engineering calculations, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to validate designs. The engineer will collaborate with project managers and sales teams to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical presentations, and support installation and commissioning activities to ensure that solutions perform as intended. The role also involves continuous improvement of design standards, staying updated on automation technologies, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.


• Experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial automation projects, preferably in a senior or lead design role.


• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
