DNC Automation (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop and commission control systems. You will work on electrical schematics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA, and support site installation and FAT/SAT activities.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics and at least 2 years in related work, with willingness to travel to customer sites in Meranti Jaya, Puchong and beyond.

• Candidate must have a degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in automation/controls.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop electrical control systems including schematics, circuits, PLC, HMI and SCADA.
• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for automated machinery and process control.
• Perform system simulation, software testing, I/O checking and functional testing before site deployment.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, control panel layouts, I/O lists and instrument lists.
• Support control panel fabrication, wiring inspection and FAT.
• Provide site installation support, testing, commissioning and SAT.
• Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, communication and instrumentation issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and customers during project execution.
• Assist Sales with system concepts, proposals and equipment selection.

Design and develop electrical control systems, including electrical schematics, control circuits, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.

Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for automated machinery and process control systems.

Perform system simulation, software testing, I/O checking and functional testing before site deployment.

Prepare and review electrical drawings, control panel layouts, I/O lists, instrument lists and related technical documentation.

Support control panel fabrication, wiring inspection and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).

Carry out site installation support, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of automation systems.

Conduct Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and assist customers during system start-up and production trials.

Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, communication, instrumentation and automation-related issues.

Coordinate with project managers, mechanical engineers, electrical contractors, suppliers and customers during project implementation.

Support project planning, progress monitoring and technical coordination to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and specifications.

Provide technical support to the Sales team, including system concepts, technical proposals, equipment selection and customer discussions.

Provide after-sales technical support, system modifications and improvement works when required.

Ensure engineering work complies with relevant safety requirements, customer specifications and company standards.

Able to travel and work at customer sites when required.

Job requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): Project Management, Electrical Circuit, PLC programming.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Applicants must be willing to work in Meranti Jaya, Puchong.

Preferably Executives specializing in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
