You will perform audit procedures, assist in preparing statutory financial statements, maintain ledgers, process transactions, and handle secretarial assignments, collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality professional services.

Qualifications

• : Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• : 2-3 years of experience in audit or accounting; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• : Proficiency in using accounting & audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
• : Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking an Audit cum Accounts Executive to join J.M. WONG & CO in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that combines audit and accounting responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in external audit and accounting. You will play a key role in supporting our audit and bookkeeping engagements, contributing to the delivery of high-quality professional services to our diverse client portfolio.

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in audit or accounting role, preferably in a professional services firm. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting & audit software and Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Ability to converse in Mandarin is an advantage
