Koa & Co. is a leading Audit, Tax and Consulting firm with a strong presence in Johor and across Malaysia. We are seeking Senior & Junior Audit Assistant to join our Mount Austin Branch in Johor Bahru for a full-time role supporting our Tax and Audit operations.

You will assist in planning and executing external audits, prepare tax returns, and collaborate with a dynamic team to address risk areas while continuing professional development in accounting and tax.

Qualifications

• Experience in external audit or tax advisory roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tax preparation tools.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and execution of external audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Performing detailed financial analyses and preparing audit reports and relevant documentation.
• Collaborating with the Audit team to identify and address any areas of concern or risk.
• Providing tax advisory and compliance services to clients, including preparing tax returns and filings.
• Conducting research to stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations.
• Supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative and project-based tasks as required.

About the role
