Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Associate Director to lead data centre insights in APAC with KL as the base. Track and analyse activity, identify trends, and produce publications, client presentations, webinars and industry speaking opportunities.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams across time zones, manage multiple projects, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations to drive growth and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, finance, economics, or systems management; or a related field required; master’s or other advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 and up to 10 years of related work experience in data centres, IT or telecommunications.
• Data analysis, research, and substantive knowledge of regional and global data centre sector.
• Fluency in quantitative research methods, including advanced statistical analysis and data collection, manipulation, and management.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse data centre activity in APAC and in KL, identify trends, growth opportunities and challenges for DC firms.
• Collect and analyse data and publications on the global data centre sector.
• Assess findings and disseminate across various research outputs for internal and external audiences, publications, client presentations, webinars and industry speaking opportunities.
• Answer data and informational queries from regional team and be a knowledgeable source of truth for data centre insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop research proposals to assist in business development and revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with global research team in drafting signature biannual and annual reports.
• Maintain effective communication with the DCG and other stakeholders through regular team meetings.
• Execute bespoke advisory mandates for clients including demand estimations, pricing strategies, feasibility, market study, benchmarking, regulatory and compliance requirements.
