Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control and Process Improvement professional to oversee inspection, control, and enhancement of product quality across raw materials, processes, and finished goods. You will maintain QC equipment and drive corrective actions for customer complaints, coordinating with production.

The role also involves supervising attendance, developing training plans, staff allocation, and supporting 6S and safety initiatives, with involvement in wage calculations and rewards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or related field.
• Strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and communications skills; familiar with ISO 9001 quality management system; proficient in quality tools and quality control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, control, manage and improve product quality across raw materials, processes and finished products.
• Maintain and manage monitoring and measuring equipment.
• Formulate improvement measures for customer complaints and supervise implementation by production.
• Manage daily attendance and approve leave requests.
• Develop departmental training plans, onboarding training, skill assessments and assist HR with multi-skill training.
• Allocate staff based on workload and assist in 6S and safety management.
• Prepare, review and adjust job descriptions and departmental functions; support performance improvement plans.
• Assist in calculating performance-based wages and verify workshop rewards/penalty expenses.
