• Relevant qualification in Quality Management or equivalent.
• Experience in QA/QC in manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and QM software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting regular quality inspections and audits of products, materials and processes.
• Record quality control data, test results and inspection reports as per procedures.
• Collaborate with production and logistics to identify issues and support corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration and function of quality control equipment.
• Prepare and maintain quality management documentation and work instructions.
• Investigate defects and contribute to root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist in planning internal and external quality audits.
• Communicate quality requirements across departments.

Eadeco Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Management Assistant to join our Quality Assurance & Control team at our Chemor Perak facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our quality management systems and ensuring that our manufacturing and logistics operations meet the highest standards of excellence. As a Quality Management Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with quality standards, conducting inspections, and supporting the implementation of quality improvement initiatives across our operations. This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in quality assurance whilst contributing to the success of a dynamic manufacturing and logistics organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting regular quality inspections and audits of products, materials and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications
• Support the documentation and recording of quality control data, test results and inspection reports in accordance with company procedures and industry requirements
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to identify quality issues, document non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Help maintain and organize quality control equipment and testing instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly
• Support the preparation and maintenance of quality management documentation, standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Assist in investigating product defects or quality complaints and contribute to root cause analysis and preventative measures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuous improvement projects and contribute suggestions to enhance quality processes
• Support the planning and coordination of internal and external quality audits
• Liaise between quality assurance, production and other departments to communicate quality requirements and updates

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in quality control
• Proven experience working in a quality assurance or quality control environment, preferably in manufacturing or logistics sectors
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and analyze quality data and inspection results
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Good understanding of quality management principles, standards and best practices such as ISO 9001 or equivalent
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and testing instruments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management software is advantageous
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations within manufacturing and logistics is preferred
