Job summary

Dynacast International in Alor Gajah, Malaysia is seeking a QA-support role to assist the QA Manager by ensuring processes and products meet the quality system and customer requirements at optimum costs. The role emphasizes driving a quality culture and aligning with departmental goals.

You will engage in KPI achievement (scrap, CI), quality issue negotiations with customers (8D, CAR, PDCA), and oversight of secondary processes to maintain output and quality.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing field, preferably in Quality Assurance with direct reports.
• Good interpersonal skill, computer skills, good communication, and team player.
• Familiar and competent in quality systems/tools (MSA, SPC, Control Plan, PPAP, etc.).
• Fluent written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA Manager to achieve monthly KPI set (scrap, CI etc.).
• Negotiate with customers on quality related issues and documentations (8D, CAR, PDCA, etc.).
• Manage and oversee secondary processes (Shot blast & barreling) on output, quality and overtime.
• Instill discipline, environmental and safety and continuous improvements of the secondary processes.
• Manage Out-going inspection on effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor and feedback to vendor / sub-conductor on monthly performance (LAR, Quality, etc.).
