AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Assistant Purchasing Manager / Purchasing Supervisor to lead purchasing operations and support overall supply chain performance.

The role focuses on ensuring material availability, optimizing costs, and guiding a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage supplier performance and pricing, and collaborate with Production, Planning and Supply Chain to meet MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory control and supply chain processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Purchasing team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor material supply to meet production and MRP requirements.
• Develop and implement purchasing and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage supplier performance, pricing, and commercial negotiations to achieve cost savings.
• Analyze forecasts, inventory trends and material planning to minimize shortages and excess stock.
