Job summary

TTY ID & Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a site engineer to supervise daily construction activities and support project management. Minimum Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience is required.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project is an advantage; strong communication and coordination skills are essential to supervise workers and coordinate with subcontractors while ensuring safety on site.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in civil engineering or related field.
At least 2 years of working experience in construction or related field.
Experience in civil/building/structural construction preferred.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project advantageous.
Good understanding of drawings, site measurements, and construction methods.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to supervise workers and coordinate with subcontractors.
Willing to work on Sundays and Public Holidays when required.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at site.
Assist the Project Manager in ensuring smooth site operations.
Monitor work progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
Coordinate and supervise Sub-Contractors and workers.
Check and monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used on site.
Conduct site measurements and verify completed works.
Attend site meetings with the Client, Consultant, Project Manager, and Sub-Contractors.
Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and look-ahead reports.
Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
Monitor site safety and ensure workers comply with safety requirements.
Report site issues, delays, and defects to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve site problems efficiently.
Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
