CSE Automotive Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Technician to support production and facility operations. You will help with equipment setups, line support, and maintenance to ensure high uptime and safety.
You will perform PM, PdM, and corrective work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, keep accurate logs, and assist junior technicians while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for a hands-on Technician to support our production and facility operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining a safe working environment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Support daily production operations by assisting with equipment setups, executing machine buy-offs, managing component traceability data, and providing rapid technical support for line disruptions.
Conduct daily inspections and operations of critical department equipment, including air compressors, jigs, fixtures, and testers, while maintaining a clean, structured, and organized workspace through 5S principles.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM),predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective repair work on mechanical, electrical,pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using technical drawings and schematics.
Active participant in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) to optimize equipment availability. Identify and eliminate workplace hazards, conduct safety patrols, and ensure full compliance with company policies andsafety regulations.
Maintain complete and accurate maintenance logs, update preventive maintenance schedules, track spare parts inventory, and support system traceability requirements.
Achieve individual Strategic Action Plan (SAP) objectives strictly aligned with department Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Recognize and address operational risks and opportunities, stakeholder expectations, the impact of quality or environmental failures,and potential climate change impacts relevant to assigned tasks.
Authorized to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical,electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery issues independently.
Plan and carry out routine equipment servicing to prevent unplanned downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training, and support to junior technicians.
Identify maintenance bottlenecks and propose actionable ways to improve equipment reliability and maintenance procedures
Perform any other relevant job duties or technical tasks as assigned by department management from time to time
Diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechanical,Mechatronics, or Manufacturing) from a recognized TVET institution (such as Politeknik,TVETMARA/KKTM/MJII, or ADTEC/ILP) OR a Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM Level 4 in a relevant trade.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment.
In‑depth practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical,pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with demonstrated ability to read circuit diagrams and technical schematics.
Proficient in basic computer applications (such as Microsoft Office Word and Excel) for data compilation, reporting, and maintenance record‑keeping.
Excellent technical communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (oral and written), strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of adhering to safety procedures and instructions.
