Job summary

Yokowo Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on technician to perform set-up/changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment. You will ensure adherence to SOPs, ISO and safety requirements while keeping a clean, organized work area on a rotating 12-hour shift.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Qualification includes a Diploma in Mechanical/Engineering with the ability to read drawings and meet 0.5 μm measurement precision, contributing to defect

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Mechanical, Engineering, Quality, Electronic, Mechatronic.
• Able to use precision measurement devices, accuracy to 0.5 μm.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts as required.
• Familiar with SOPs and ISO/Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up/changeovers and take corrective actions to reduce defects and losses with minimal supervision.
• Perform machine preventive maintenance and prepare machines for line clearances.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce downtime with minimal supervision.
• Follow assigned duties according to departmental SOPs.

Job description

1. Performs set-up/changeovers, takes corrective action to eliminate production defects and reduce in-process losses with minimal support from superior.

2. Performs machine preventive maintenance and prepares machines for line clearances.

3. Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce or eliminate defects, rejects, or equipment downtime with minimal support from Superior.

4. Perform all assigned duties according to departmental SOP’s.

5. Remain current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised, and new SOP’s relating to the job and to the department.

6. Ability to use, clean, and store tools and other devices required for the performance of the job in a manner which prevents damage to the tools and / or equipment.

7. Maintain a clean and organized work area during and at the end of each shift.

8. Effective and efficient operation of manual and automated equipment.

9. Follow the related legal requirement in working environment practice such as ISO requirement, Safety requirement etc. based on the Superior decision.

10. Responsible to Control related Confidential item and make sure the material is not leak to other parties and follow the implementation of the preventive action.

Attend the informal or formal inhouse or external training as to increase the awareness of the necessary training scope which relevant to the work base on Superior plan.

1. Able to use precision measurement device and accurately measure within 0.5μm.

2. Ability to multi-task and have the Hands-On skill.

3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity and able to read technical drawing.

4. Ability to work any shift (up to 12-hours) as required dependent on business needs.

Physically able to continuously stand and walk.
