Job summary

TXMR NEXTECH SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks an Assistant Procurement Engineer- Mechanical (Contract) to source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and automation items. You will assist in issuing RFQs, compare quotations and track purchase orders for timely delivery.

You will collaborate with engineering, production and finance, review technical specs, monitor inventory and support cost control while maintaining records and compliance with policies. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma/Certificate in mechanical/related fields.
• Fresh graduates or up to 1 year experience encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and automation components is an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP familiarity helps.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and automation items.
• Assist in issuing RFQs and compare supplier quotations.
• Support creation and tracking of purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality.
• Review technical specs with engineering or maintenance teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and support cost control.
• Maintain procurement records and assist audits.
• Ensure procurement activities follow company policies.
