Job summary

TXMR NEXTECH SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks an Assistant Procurement Engineer- Mechanical (Contract) to source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and automation items. You will assist in issuing RFQs, compare quotations and track purchase orders for timely delivery.

You will collaborate with engineering, production and finance, review technical specs, monitor inventory and support cost control while maintaining records and compliance with policies. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma/Certificate in mechanical/related fields.
• Fresh graduates or up to 1 year experience encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and automation components is an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP familiarity helps.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Assistant Procurement Engineer- Mechanical (Contract)

Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and automation-related items.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

Help review technical specifications with engineering or maintenance teams.

Monitor inventory levels and support cost control efforts.

Maintain procurement records and assist in audit preparations.

Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and procedures.

Work closely with internal teams such as engineering, production and finance.

Support procurement tasks for projects involving mechanical or automation systems.

Any other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Basic knowledge of mechanical and automation components is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Ecount ERP systems is a plus.
