Borong is seeking a Marketing Assistant Manager to support the Marketing Lead in delivering communications, campaigns, branding, digital, and events. You will translate priorities into action, maintain quality, and ensure coordinated processes across the marketing function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in general marketing, integrated marketing, or campaign management.
  • Broad understanding of branding, campaigns, digital channels, content, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to connect marketing activities to business objectives.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with multiple priorities.
  • Good communication across internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and detail‑oriented with hands‑on capability.
  • Existing relationships with press and media networks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage media relations, PR activities, press releases, and media materials.
  • Develop external communications, announcements, newsletters, and corporate updates for clients, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate trade shows, roadshows, client events, and other external marketing activities.
  • Manage relationships with media representatives, agencies, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure smooth delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand presence and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support the Marketing Lead in overseeing the planning and delivery of marketing activities across branding, campaigns, digital, content, events, and other relevant areas.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time, to the expected quality, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Establish and maintain clear processes, workflows, timelines, and ways of working to ensure marketing activities are structured and coordinated.
  • Work with the marketing team and cross‑functional stakeholders to identify gaps, resolve issues, and keep initiatives moving.
  • Take ownership of selected initiatives or projects requiring greater coordination, judgment, or senior‑level involvement, while continuously improving how the marketing function works.

Job description

The Marketing Assistant Manager supports the Marketing Lead in managing the overall marketing function, ensuring initiatives across communications, campaigns, branding, digital, events, and other marketing activities are well planned and delivered effectively.

The role works closely with the Marketing Lead and wider marketing team to translate priorities into action, maintain quality and consistency, and ensure the right processes and coordination are in place. The incumbent will also take ownership of selected initiatives that require greater coordination, judgment, or senior-level involvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in general marketing, integrated marketing, campaign management, or a similar role. E-commerce or B2B experience is a plus.
  • Broad understanding of marketing, including branding, campaigns, digital channels, content, and stakeholder communications.
  • Good commercial sense and ability to connect marketing activities to business objectives.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with the confidence to work across internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution‑oriented, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to get hands‑on when required.
  • Has good existing relationships with relevant press and media networks.
