Luxchem Polymer Industries Sdn Bhd in Malacca City invites applications for an Assistant Manager, Warehouse & Logistics. You will supervise daily warehouse operations, manage documentation for receiving and delivery, and optimise resources to support smooth logistics.
Qualifications include a Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, at least 5 years in warehouse/logistics with 2–3 years in supervision, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong communication skills.
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics administrative activities, including receiving and delivery documentation.
Monitor the receipt and usage of liquid materials to ensure proper control and minimise pilferage.
Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with established procedures.
Optimise manpower, equipment, and other resources to support smooth warehouse operations.
Ensure the ERP system is properly maintained and effectively utilised to improve warehouse processes.
Coordinate timely transportation arrangements for material collection to avoid unnecessary rental charges.
Coordinate regular cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy and minimise discrepancies.
Conduct periodic audits of workplace procedures to ensure compliance with company requirements.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance warehouse and logistics efficiency.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior and Management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management, and logistics coordination.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
