IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a QA/QC Manager to oversee MEPS quality assurance across project operations in Malaysia. You will ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards while leading the QA/QC team and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years in QA/QC for MEP projects, and experience in supervision is advantageous.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MEP construction practices, QA/QC procedures, inspection methods, and relevant quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements.
• Experience in MEP installation inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality documentation.

Assist the QA/QC Manager in overseeing Mechanical & Electrical (MEP) quality assurance and quality control activities across project operations.

Ensure all MEP works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality control processes.

Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material submittals, and other quality documentation.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure MEP installation works meet the required quality standards.

Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive measures.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.

Monitor material inspections, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for MEP systems.

Review and maintain quality records, inspection reports, testing documents, and project QA/QC documentation.

Ensure all quality documentation is properly maintained and ready for internal and external audits.

Lead and guide the QA/QC team to ensure quality requirements are consistently achieved throughout the project.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in MEP construction or engineering projects.

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is an advantage.

Good knowledge of MEP construction practices, QA/QC procedures, inspection methods, and relevant quality standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements.

Experience in MEP installation inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality documentation.

Data Centre project experience is an added advantage.
