Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking an Electrical Project Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on-site in Malaysia. The role requires coordinating with subcontractors and other disciplines to ensure timely, safe, and compliant project execution.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of MEP experience in building construction and a solid understanding of ACMV, BMS, fire protection, plumbing, and ELV systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant MEP experience for building construction projects.
• Technical knowledge in ACMV, BMS, fire protection, plumbing, HV or ELV systems.
• Familiar with local regulations, codes of practice and technical standard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation works at the project site.
• Monitor daily electrical activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, engineers, and other site teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
• Inspect and verify electrical installations, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and identify any technical issues, defects, or non-compliance.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with safety requirements, relevant regulations, and project procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Electrical Engineer.
