Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a senior HSE professional to lead the site’s health, safety and environment strategy, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations and company policies.

You will deliver trainings, manage risk, oversee fire safety, PTW, MHE operations, and drive monthly inspections with the HSE Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OSH or related field.
• SHO certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in logistics/warehousing/3PL/4PL.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiar with risk assessment methodologies (HIRARC) and PTW processes.
• Knowledge of MHE operations and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for HSE matters and guide on policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Advise management, site leaders, and contractors on HSE compliance and best practices.
• Develop and oversee safety and utilities maintenance programs to support operational excellence and HSE objectives.
• Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety compliance, and facility-related HSE requirements.
• Deliver HSE trainings including inductions, toolbox talks, and MHE operator training.
• Conduct monthly HSE inspections with the HSE Committee and prepare inspection reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly HSE inspections with departmental HSE Committee representatives and prepare inspection reports for review and discussion during HSE Committee meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or a related discipline.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) certification is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, 3PL, or 4PL industry and is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiar with risk assessment methodologies, HIRARC, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes.
• Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operations and facility maintenance.
