- Lead and manage the full scope of HR and Administration functions, including Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Industrial Relations, Employee Engagement, and General Administration.
- Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company’s business objectives.
2. Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Lead the recruitment team in executing manpower planning, recruitment strategies, and talent acquisition initiatives to support organizational needs. To ensure timely fulfilment of vacancies and build talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Review, update, and enhance HR and Administration policies, SOPs, and processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.To ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and industrial relations practices.
4. Payroll & HR Reporting
- Oversee the payroll function to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with government legislation, Acts, and local authority regulations.
- To ensure accurate and timely preparation of HR Sustainability Reporting, statutory submissions, and internal HR analytics and reports.
- Assist in administering and reviewing compensation and benefits programmes, including reward and recognition initiatives.Responsible to conduct periodic job evaluations and market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in the industry.
6. Performance Management
- Lead the annual performance management cycle to ensure a transparent, fair, and objective performance evaluation process.Responsible to provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Lead the Learning & Development team in identifying training needs, planning development programmes, and ensuring compliance with operational requirements and HRD Corp regulations.
- Oversee the complete foreign worker administration process, including Foreign Worker quota applications, calling visas, work permit renewals, professional visa applications, and regulatory compliance.
9. Industrial and Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations matters including grievances, misconduct, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries to ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 (EA 2022 amendments), IR Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Work closely with management to foster a positive and harmonious working environment.
10. HR Digitalization and Systems
- Responsible to drive HR system enhancements, digitalization initiatives, and process automation to improve HR operational efficiency.
11. Administration Management
- Lead and supervise the Administration team to ensure smooth, efficient delivery of day-to-day administrative functions such as office management, facilities management, security, and general services.
12. Perform any other duties or special assignments as required from time to time to support business and operational needs.
Experience/Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of managerial experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Employment Act, Industrial Relations, and statutory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and domestic inquiries.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong planning, analytical, and execution capabilities with good business acumen to support organizational growth.
