The Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR professional to support full-spectrum human resources functions within a hospitality environment. You will manage recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, payroll and attendance support, employee relations and welfare, training and development coordination, and compliance with hotel standards and Malaysian labour laws.

This is an HR role supporting full-spectrum human resources functions within a hospitality environment. You will manage recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, payroll and attendance support, employee relations and welfare, training and development coordination, and compliance with hotel standards and Malaysian labour laws.
Assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for prospective candidates
Prepare job postings and ensure timely updates across recruitment platforms
Coordinate onboarding arrangements including documentation, orientation sessions, and issuance of uniforms/ID
Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee personnel files, HRIS data, and documentation
Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, memos, and other HR-related documents
Manage leave administration and ensure attendance data is updated accurately
Verify attendance records, leave applications, overtime claims, and allowances before payroll processing
Provide frontline support for employee inquiries on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Assist in arranging training sessions, preparing materials, and coordinating attendance
Ensure HR practices adhere to hotel standards and Malaysian labour laws
Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry
Hospitality / Hotel background is a must, with good exposure to F&B operations
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in full-spectrum HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, C&B, employee relations, training, performance management and HR administration
Familiar with Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB
Experience handling F&B staffing, shift-based employees, casual/part-time workers and foreign workers will be an added advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with Operations and F&B teams
Independent, organised, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
Good knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
