Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager, Operations to support daily operations, monitor processes and ensure timely, accurate processing in line with policies and regulatory requirements.

You will act as a key escalation point, coach junior colleagues and produce routine reporting, while developing a strong understanding of collateral products and related risk controls within a well-governed environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and complete required controls to help maintain a well-controlled environment.
• Act as a primary contact for escalation matters and support timely resolution.
• Support consistent handling of queries, exceptions and disputes to improve efficiency and manage risk.
• Coach and support junior team members, maintaining strong service standards.
• Produce and maintain routine reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) where required.
• Build and maintain a good understanding of the products, processes and systems supported by the team.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures.
