Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its automated warehouse solutions. The role focuses on leading the maintenance team, planning and coordinating preventive and corrective activities, and ensuring safety and SLA adherence across electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years in a managerial maintenance role, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in managerial role in automated warehouse solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Manage daily maintenance activities to keep warehouse equipment and facilities running safely and reliably.
• Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians and ensure timely completion per SLA.
• Lead, supervise, coach and develop the maintenance team to improve performance.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Apply TPM, Lean, and continuous improvement to improve reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, company policies and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities to keep warehouse equipment, machineries, processing lines, and facilities running safely and reliably.
• Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians and ensure jobs are completed on time and according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team to improve performance and competency.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to restore equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities to align with client’s operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Ensure reliable operations and maintenance of utilities systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, steam, HVAC, and etc.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring the work is completed safely, properly, and according to company and client requirements.
• Ensure any maintenance activities are properly updated in the e-Maintenance system.
• Monitor maintenance performance, equipment availability, downtime, and SLA achievement, and take action when targets are not met.
• Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and continuous improvement activities to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and increase maintenance efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable legal and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferable in managerial role in the automated warehouse solutions industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
