Job summary

Kruvent Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, a manufacturing company, invites qualified professionals to join as Assistant Human Resources Manager. You will lead HR operations, oversee recruitment and employee relations, manage payroll and compliance, and support safety and ISO processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/BA, at least five years in manufacturing HR, and a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity. This position is based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and employee retention.
• Coordinate performance appraisal and employee development activities.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
• Manage payroll, attendance, leave, and employee benefits; ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
• Oversee foreign worker recruitment, permit renewals, and regulatory compliance; liaise with authorities.
• Support ISO management systems, audits, and health, safety & environment programs.

Job description

To manage all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll, foreign worker management, legal compliance, and HR administration to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resource Management

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Plan manpower requirements and support workforce planning.

Advise management on HR-related matters.

2. Recruitment & Manpower

Manage recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and employee retention.

Monitor manpower utilization and turnover.

3. Performance & Training

Coordinate performance appraisal and employee development activities.

Identify training needs and monitor training effectiveness.

4. Employee Relations

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations.

Promote employee engagement and welfare programs.

Manage payroll, attendance, leave, and employee benefits.

Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Manage foreign worker recruitment, permit renewals, and regulatory compliance.

Liaise with government authorities and external agencies.

Oversee worker hostel operations, welfare, and accommodation compliance.

7. Compliance & Administration

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Maintain HR records, reports, and documentation.

Support ISO management systems, audits, and management reviews.

8. Health, Safety & Environment

Support workplace safety, health, and environmental programs.

Participate in relevant committees, audits, and improvement activities.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
