To provide operational and administrative HR support to the Company and its subsidiaries, covering payroll, employee lifecycle activities, onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, and general HR services. The incumbent is responsible for managing routine HR transactions, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating HR activities, and providing timely support to employees and stakeholders in accordance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. The role contributes to the smooth execution of HR operations, effective delivery of HR services, and compliance with governance standards.
Job Accountability
1) HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Support day-to-day HR operations and ensure timely execution of HR processes.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, changes in employment status and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, letters and employee records.
- Ensure employee records and HR information are accurate, complete and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on employee movements and HR-related matters.
- Provide timely responses and support to employees on routine HR enquiries.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including documentation, HRMS setup, employee records and relevant administrative arrangements.
2) Payroll, Statutory & HR Compliance
- Support and ensure payroll information is accurate and complete.
- Maintain and update payroll-related employee data, including salary changes, allowances, deductions, leave and other payroll inputs.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee payroll-related enquiries.
- Support statutory submissions and payroll-related compliance requirements, where applicable.
- Maintain proper payroll documentation and records.
3) HRMS & Employee Data Management
- Administer and maintain employee information in the HRMS.
- Ensure timely updating of employee movements, personal information, leave, attendance and other HR data.
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of HR data.
- Generate HR reports and data for management and business requirements.
- Support HRMS enhancement, system implementation and process improvement initiatives.
4) Employee Engagement
- Support employee engagement activities and HR initiatives organised by the Company.
- Assist in coordinating employee communications, HR programmes and internal activities.
- Provide responsive and professional HR support to employees and stakeholders.
- Assist in gathering employee feedback and supporting HR initiatives arising from employee engagement activities.
5) HR Support to Subsidiaries
- Provide operational HR support to the Company’s subsidiaries, as assigned.
- Coordinate HR administration, employee lifecycle and payroll-related matters across subsidiaries.
- Ensure HR processes are implemented consistently in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with subsidiary representatives and relevant stakeholders to resolve routine HR matters.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Formal Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experiences in HR Operations and Payroll, preferably in renewable energy, engineering, or technical industries.
- Proficiency in HRMS systems and MS Office.
Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of HR operations and payroll administration.
- Good understanding of HRMS and payroll systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
