Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle across a branch, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour law and Employment Act.

You will handle recruitment, payroll coordination with Finance, and act as the liaison for branch staff while reporting to overseas HQ. The role requires 4–6 years of HR generalist experience, autonomy, and knowledge of HRDF grants.

• Maintain and audit employee master data.
• Prepare and verify monthly payroll data with Finance.
• Manage recruitment for technical and corporate roles: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding.
• Handle foreign worker work pass applications, renewals, and quota management.
• Coordinate the annual performance appraisal cycle.
• Identify training needs and manage government grant claims (e.g. HRDF).
• Act as the primary HR point of contact for branch staff.
• Plan and execute welfare and engagement activities.
• Advise line managers on disciplinary matters and counseling, escalating to HQ where needed.
