Job summary

Malamin Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant FM / Finance Manager to join our team at the Bukit Kachi Mining Site in Sintok, Kedah.

You will oversee the entire accounting function and support monthly and yearly closes, budgeting, and financial reporting. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and daily bookkeeping functions.
• Timely recording and reconciliation for AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cashbook, Bankbook, and Payroll for monthly and yearly closing.
• Ensure optimal and efficient management of daily operating cashflow and credit lines.
• Prepare working papers for costing, taxation, budgeting, cashflow and project ROI.
• Prepare true & fair management accounts and financial reports for monthly & yearly closing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements (LHDN, MIDA, MITI, etc.).

Assistant FM / Finance Manager at Malamin Sdn. Bhd., a well-established and rapidly expanding leader in the mining & mineral processing industry. You will join a dynamic team based at Bukit Kachi Mining Site, Sintok, Kedah.

Key responsibilities

Manage full set of accounts and daily bookkeeping functions

Timely recording and reconciliation for AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cashbook, Bankbook, and Payroll for monthly and yearly closing

Ensure optimal and efficient management of daily operating cashflow, cash conversion cycle, short-term money-market fund, credit lines, forex hedging

Prepare working papers for costing, taxation, budgeting, cashflow and project ROI

Ensure effective & efficient SOP, KPI & Systems for bookkeeping, treasury management and financial planning daily operations

Prepare true & fair management accounts and financial reports for monthly & yearly closing

Ensure the company is in compliance to all operating regulatory & statutory requirements, primarily, the LHDN, KASTAM, SSM, BNM, MOF, MIDA, MITI, MATRADE

Complete any other emerging tasks as assigned by Management

About you

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
