Assistant Finance Manager - Urgently Hiring

We are seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support our finance operations and business growth. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, and day-to-day finance activities while working closely with management and external stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical finance professional who takes ownership, improves processes, solves problems, and provides accurate financial insights to support effective business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial controls.

Manage cash flow, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing activities.

Review and approve financial transactions, including invoices, journal entries, payments, and purchase orders.

Prepare and review management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

Monitor financial performance and provide management with timely, meaningful financial insights and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks, regulators, and other external stakeholders.

Maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures, identifying opportunities to strengthen processes and minimize financial risks.

Monitor inventory controls and support operational and financial audits.

Oversee payroll-related financial processes and statutory submissions.

Support banking activities, including banking, financing, licensing, and corporate compliance matters.

Drive continuous improvements in finance processes, systems, reporting, and internal controls.

Undertake special projects and other finance-related assignments as required by Management.

Requirements :

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Preferably 8–10+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with solid experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Experience working with ERP/accounting systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly preferred.

Good understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and financial risk management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, colleagues, auditors, banks, tax agents, and other stakeholders.

Able to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
