Hokuden (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to lead accounting and finance operations in our manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The role involves managing general ledger, cash flow planning, statutory submissions, and liaison with bankers, auditors, and regulators. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential, as is leadership and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, inventory control, accounts payable, accounts receivable and order entry transactions.
• Ensure all management, consolidated account and statutory reporting submissions are done on timely and accurate basis.
• Maintain, implement and improve accounting, management information and internal control system.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, inventory control, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and statutory reports for timely submission.
• Plan, monitor and manage the cash flow across the organization.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting systems, and improve MIS.
• Handle e-invoices and ensure compliance with LHDN regulations.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and regulators; support ad-hoc projects.

Job description

The proposed candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance

- Experience in manufacturing environment is an added advantage

Strong knowledge in:

Control general ledger, inventory control, account payable, account receivable and order entry transactions

Ensure all management, consolidated account and statutory reporting submissions are done on timely and accurate basis.

Ensure financial report submitted to holding Co. on time

Plan, manage and monitor the cash flow

Maintain, implement and improve accounting, management information and internal control system.

Manage e-invoices, verifying validity and ensuring compliance with LHDN guidelines & regulations.

Liaise with banker, auditors, tax agent, company secretary and government bodies and regulator authorities.

Costing and inventory control

handle ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management

Good leadership and communication skills

familiar with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
