Job summary

GDT Sdn. Bhd., a leading contract manufacturer in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance.

You will contribute to financial planning and analysis, manage day-to-day accounting, and collaborate with external auditors and tax agents.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA), and 5–7 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
