Job summary

Talent Recruit is recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager based in Shah Alam. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, cash flow management and compliance within a manufacturing environment.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, manage supplier payments, monitor credit, and oversee budgeting and tax data. The position requires independence, a proactive attitude and availability to be based in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports.
• Verify and approve supplier payments and monitor credit control.
• Monitor utilisation of banking facilities.
• Prepare bank applications (RC, LC, BG, BA, etc).
• Monitor AR aging and highlight long overdue customers.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of company budget.
• Prepare monthly provisions, accruals and closing entries.
• Prepare Forex/realised gains or losses for AP and AR.

Company Background

We are representing our client a leading plastic packaging materials and film & sheet manufacturer in Malaysia. Our client is currently seeking for an experienced and dynamic candidate to fill the position of Assistant Finance Manager.

• Mon-Fri (9am-5.30pm)
• Group Insurance and Medical Outpatient
• Quarterly Performance Bonus

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Cash Flow Reports
• Verify and approved supplier payments and monitor credit control.
• Monitor utilisation of banking facilities.
• Preparation of bank application (RC, LC, BG, BA etc).
• Monitor AR Aging and highlight long overdue customers.
• Responsible in Company Taxation. Ensure Tax Computation information prepare and submit to Tax Agent accurately and timely.
• Review of tax payable and provision required in financial statement
• To lead and co-ordinate the preparation of Company budget.
• To prepare monthly preparements, accruals, and provisions
• To prepare monthly financial closing.
• To prepare Forex/Realised gain or loss for AP and AR.
• To undertake any ad hoc tasks assigned by superior or management from time to time.
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, self-driven, positive working attitude and meet tight deadline.
• Able to be based in Shah Alam, Selangor
