Job summary

Kitchens of The World Holdings Sdn Bhd – Alor Gajah, Melaka is seeking a qualified accountant to join the finance team. The role involves preparing monthly group management reports, statutory annual reports, and delivering reliable analyses of financial performance and ratios.

The candidate will liaise with auditors, corporate secretaries, tax consultants, bankers, and authorities in Singapore, while handling ad-hoc assignments and statutory compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with accounting and corporate finance expertise.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Able to communicate with English and Mandarin speaking associates.
• Pro-active, self-motivated and performance oriented.
• Able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of Companies Act, financial reporting standards, tax regulations and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with overseas joint ventures and ensure timely submission of management accounts.
• Prepare monthly group management reports on a timely basis.
• Prepare statutory group annual report.
• Provide reliable analysis of financial performance and key ratios monthly.
• Liaise with auditors, corporate secretary, tax consultants, bankers and authorities in Singapore.
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior or the Management.

• · Work closely with overseas joint ventures and ensure timely submission of management accounts
• · Prepare monthly group management reports on a timely basis
• · Prepare statutory group annual report
• · Provide reliable and sensible analysis of financial performance and other key financial ratios on a monthly basis
• · Liaise with auditors, corporate secretary, tax consultants, bankers and various authorities of Singapore
• · Assist in any ad-hoc assignment as an when required
• · Any other duties as assigned by superior or the Management.

Job Requirements:

• · Qualified accountant, proficient in accounting and corporate finance and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, including some years with an international accounting firms or from a multi-national corporation
• · Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
• · Able to communicate with both English and Mandarin speaking associates
• · Highly pro-active, self-motivated and performance oriented
• · Able to work independently
• · Good knowledge of Companies Act, financial reporting standards, tax regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
