Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to assist with full-set closing, consolidation, and financial reporting across the group. You will review journals, ensure MFRS/IFRS compliance, and coordinate with auditors and tax agents. The role includes budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc projects.
You will also support month-end and year-end closing processes, prepare schedules, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across entities.

Assist the Assistant Finance Manager in full-set account closing (month-end and year-end).
Review and verify transactional work, journal entries, and preliminary schedules prepared by the Finance Executive to ensure accuracy.
Maintain accurate reporting schedules and ensure timely submissions of all financial reports.
Ensure all financial records comply with local accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
Assist in preparing and consolidating financial statements for multiple entities across the group.
Process and manage intercompany billings, transactions, and monthly reconciliations.
Assist in identifying and resolving intercompany discrepancies.
Perform detailed variance analysis on group accounts to uncover trends and provide actionable insights.
Assist in preparing clear, concise financial reports and management decks.
Provide ongoing support to the Assistant Finance Manager for ad-hoc financial projects, budgeting, and forecasting.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to ensure smooth execution of statutory audits and tax filings.
Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation for annual audits and tax submissions.
