Job summary

Techware is seeking a junior Finance executive to support accounting and reporting across our growing organisation. You will gain exposure to manufacturing operations, financial reporting, tax matters, and digitalisation initiatives in a supportive finance environment.

This role is part of our Retail B2B/B2C Business Unit and requires Mandarin communication for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification.
• 1+ year of relevant accounting or auditing experience.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate monthly accounts and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in management reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and GL schedules; manage GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and statutory accounting.
• Support tax computations, estimates, and E-invoicing; liaise with auditors and authorities.
• Participate in system enhancements and digitalisation initiatives; support migrations.

We are seeking a junior Finance executive to support the full spectrum of accounting and reporting functions for our growing organisation. This role offers exposure to manufacturing operations, financial reporting, tax matters, and digitalisation projects in a supportive finance environment.

This role is for our retail B2B/B2C Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing:

• Assist in preparing accurate monthly accounts and assist in timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in preparing management reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in maintaining proper journal entries, reconciliations, and GL schedules.
• Manage GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and statutory accounting.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
• Support the improvement of accounting processes and system workflows.

Tax & Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation of tax computations, estimates, and E-invoicing.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities when required.

Systems & Projects:

• Participate in system enhancements and digitalisation initiatives.
• Support system migration and implementation tasks where required.

Others:

• Work closely with the immediate superior and support other ad hoc finance activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification.
• Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
