Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a finance professional to support the department’s daily operations in Malaysia. The role requires a bachelor-level education in finance or accounting and at least one year of experience in related fields, with preference for senior-executive level candidates.

Experience with Autocount is a plus; strong analytical and leadership capabilities are essential. Fluency in English, Bahasa, and Mandarin is an advantage for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in related field.
• Senior executive level preferred in Finance - General / Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Familiar with day-to-day operations of a finance department.
• Experience with Autocount Accounting system is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work on full scope of Big 4 audit preparation tasks
• Assist in financial statement preparation
• Assist in investor reporting, modelling & cash flow planning
• Post and process journal entries to record transactions
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist reviewing expenses and payroll records as assigned
• Update financial data in databases for timely reporting
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist Finance Manager in monthly/yearly closings
• Any other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelors Degree / Post Graduate / Diploma / Professional Degree/Masters Degree in Finance Accounting / Banking equivalent.
• At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably senior executive position specialized in Finance - General / Cost Accounting or equivalent
• Familiar with the day-to-day operations of a finance department
• Experience with Autocount Accounting system is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills with a keen attention to detail and resourcefulness
• Trilingual: Able to speak English, Bahasa, and Mandarin (advantage)
