Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malacca City, Malaysia is seeking an experienced R&D development support professional. You will provide hands-on lab work, failure analysis preparation, and data-driven problem solving to enable fast, quality execution of development projects for customers.

You will collaborate with the development group, apply semiconductor assembly knowledge, and support characterization activities and sample preparation for new package/technology projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related engineering field; SPM with Maths & English required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience in R&D.
• Able to work in a team with minimal supervision from semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support to development group for fast, quality execution of projects and customer requests.
• Adequate hands-on knowledge of semiconductor assembly and related lab work.
• Failure analysis sample preparation.
• Analytical data analysis and problem solving; collaborate with teams.
• Utilize analytical equipment and Microsoft Office in daily tasks.
• Support characterization activities and lab work as instructed.
• Assist sample preparation for failure analysis for existing and new package/technologies projects.
