Job summary

Salutary Avenue Manufacturing Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an engineering assistant to support the Engineering Department in preparing, modifying, and developing 2D/3D drawings using SolidWorks, and contribute to product design and improvement.

You will read technical drawings, prepare BOMs and project documents, coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Sales, and other teams, and participate in inspections, testing, and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Familiar with SolidWorks and able to create/edit 2D and 3D drawings.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical drawings.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good technical problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and develop 2D/3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Assist in product design, development, and improvement.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, BOM, and project-related documents.
• Support Production and Technical teams in resolving technical and design issues.
• Assist with product inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and quality improvement.

• Perform site visits or customer visits when required.

Job description

Assist the Engineering Department in technical and engineering activities, including preparation, modification, and development of 2D/3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks, and support in product design, development, and improvement.

Key responsibilities

Assist in product design, development, and improvement

Requirement

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field

Familiar with SolidWorks and able to create/edit 2D and 3D drawings

Good understanding of engineering principles, mechanical components, and technical drawings

Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications

Good technical problem-solving and analytical skills

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials

Able to work closely with Production and Technical teams
