Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure smooth operation of plant and machinery through preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting and repairs.

You will support the Senior Technician, perform preventive maintenance according to schedule, interact with staff across departments, and uphold GMP practices and company rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum primary/secondary education or equivalent electrical certificate.
• Experience in mechanical engineering works.
• At least 5 years in environments with mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Senior Technician in solving difficult tasks.
• Assist Senior Technician in arrangement and performing preventive maintenance of all machineries according to schedule.
• Interact with personnel from various departments at all levels.
• Practice GMP’s system in working and housekeeping at workplace.
• Observe and obey the rules and regulations set by the company.
• Assist and perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Technician and Engineers.

• Responsible for the smooth operation of mechanical activities such as plant, machinery preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting and repair, installations and modification works.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support and necessary assistance to Senior Technician in solving problem of difficult tasks.

Education & Qualification

• Minimum Primary/ Secondary School/ SPM/ “O” Level/ engineering certificate (electrical) or equivalent qualification recognized.

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

• Experience in mechanical engineering works
• Possess not less than 5 years working experience in an environment involving operation of mechanical equipment.

• Highly skilled and good handling in mechanical working technique, example cutting and welding.
