Job summary

RESONAC MATERIALS JOHOR Sdn Bhd is seeking an Engineering professional in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia. The role focuses on mechanical inspection, project feasibility, and maintenance planning for existing and new equipment installations.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, are proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and can work independently. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical inspection and investigation of projects to determine the feasibility and forecast of new equipment installation, modification, alteration and variation of existing equipment, as well as investigating the causes of machinery failures and deficiencies.
• Responsible for mechanical works related to design, specifications, engineering cost estimates and economic analysis for the accomplishment of engineering projects.
• Responsible for machinery improvement and energy-saving activities.
• Responsible for studying and analyzing machinery problem trends, identifying root causes, and proposing appropriate countermeasures for improvement, prevention and problem elimination.
• Responsible for mechanical maintenance and serving as a workshop team member; monitor subordinate performance, work efficiency and requirements, and take necessary actions for improvement.
• Responsible for preparing and implementing periodic and preventive maintenance plans on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis, and ensuring that all plans are followed accordingly.
• Responsible for machinery improvement, developing activities and proposals for preventive maintenance, energy-saving initiatives and work method improvements for subordinates.
• Responsible for ensuring ISO, Safety, AHA and section documentation is properly maintained, and ensuring all members comply with work procedures and company policies.
