Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Cost Manager to support cost management for large-scale advanced manufacturing and high-tech facility projects in Malaysia. The role covers MEP and CSA scopes, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting, throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial management roles.
• Experience supporting CSA and/or MEP works and exposure to advanced manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and cost plans across project stages.
• Support cost benchmarking, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis.
• Assist value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor budgets and track expenditure against cost plans.
• Prepare tender documentation and procurement packages for CSA and MEP works.
