Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia is seeking a Cost Manager to support delivery of large-scale advanced manufacturing projects. This role can suit CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) expertise.

You will manage project costs across the lifecycle, ensure strong commercial control, accurate reporting, procurement support, and sound contract administration. Working with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams, you will help deliver projects on

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in cost management.
• Experience in CSA works or MEP works.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, cost plans, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
• Support procurement activities for CSA or MEP trade packages.
• Prepare tender documentation, cost breakdowns, and commercial assessments.
• Review tender submissions and provide recommendations.
• Participate in contractor negotiations and contract award activities.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
