Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will help recruit, train staff, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, and uphold regulatory standards while fostering a customer-centric culture. This is a pathway to leadership within a global eyewear leader, with opportunities across markets and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical retail management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of optical products, trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient with inventory management, POS, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in achieving sales targets through coaching and motivation.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members.
• Assist in maintaining operational efficiency by enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Oversee branch operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks and liaise with head office departments.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster a customer-centric culture.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing employee schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and processing paperwork.

Your Role
